The Witch Description

The Witch has greyish skin. On first glance, she might appear similar to common infected on first glance. On closer inspection you will notice her long claws and glowing red eyes. in absolute darkness she radiates red which making her completely visable in low light conditions. She is mostly grey and her claws are red likely from her victims' blood. At night, she is often moaning for some unknown reason in a sort of kneeling position. Her top is very torn up and has more than its fair share of stains. Her bottom has panties as far as clothes go also in the dirty and stained color. Any sort of pants or skirts was likey worn or torn off.

The Witch Information

The Witch is a very dangerous, but unique special infected in Left 4 Dead. The Witch sits and crys at night unless alerted by flashlights, loud noises, damage, or close proximity. Survivors in which case startle her when she is at the final stage of aggravation.. This animation usually includes a standing up before this happens and much more irritated noises from the Witch. When disturbed, the witch sprints to take out whoever disturbed her. The witch has an uncanny ability to incapacitate any survivor she manages to initially hit on easy through advanced difficulty. On expert difficulty, she kills the unlucky or stupid survivor. An unsuspecting witch can be stunned with the sniper rifle, pipebombs, propane, and oxygen tanks. A stunned witch can be melee-ed but a disturbed witch cannot. A Pump Shotgun or a Automatic Shotgun can kill a witch even on expert, if all the pellets connect on her head. On easy, cr0wning is much easier. The best method to crown her is approach her in front with your flashlight off and wait for her to stand up aim your shotgun were her head will be and fire right as she stands up into it, This must be done quickly as she will attack shortly after.

• Normal difficulty the witch incapacitates the survivor
• Advanced difficulty the witch incapacitates the survivor
• Expert difficulty the witch instant kills the survivor

The automatic shotgun and/or pump shotgun can cr0wn the witch despite naysayers even on expert. However the method changes a little between normal and advanced difficulty. On easy & normal the best method to take her out is to shoot her at her backside at point blank. On expert you have to shoot her in the upper part of her skull and make all pellets connect there as well.

Stun The Witch

The Propane Tank has a very interesting ability when shot in very close proximity near the witch. As long as you don't miss and shoot her instead. When Shot in this situation the propane tank will explode and the witch will be stunned for a few seconds. A stunned witch can have the stun extended by meleeing her ,this can last indefinitely. When you have reached the witch, you can shoot her inbetween meleeing her to eventually kill the witch. hunting rifle shot to the head, Oxygen Tank (s), Propane Tanks (s), And pipebombs can all do this in a similar fashion. Additionally the witch needs to be idle when you attempt this.
