Weapons and Items
Weapons & Item Slots:
Primary Weapon Slot - This is the top most item slot on PC version of L4D or L4D 2. This is meant for two-handed firearms. In the original L4D weapons that fitted into this slot worked in tiers. You would always be able to find weapons of the same tier together.

Primary Weapons Tier 1
- Pump Shotgun
- SMG
Primary Weapons Tier 2
- Automatic Shotgun
- Assualt Rifle
- Hunting Rifle
Primary Weapons in L4D 2
Primary weapons in L4D 2 aren't found in tiers persay anymore. Sure you will only find weaker ones in the starting location until later levels. But aside from that they can be found alone or in groups along the way.
