  • Survivors may carry one Primary Weapon at a time
  • Survivors my carry one Secondary weapon (s) This includes weapons that can be dual wielded
  • Survivors may carry one Kit at a Time

Losing Health

When a survivor gets damaged they lose health. At full health the visual bar at the bottom of the screen displays this and it decreases in size vertically. When the health bar goes half or 50 hp the bar turns yellow and movement is decreased. When the bar reaches _ the bar turns red and the survivor limps heavily with extremely decreased movement. Any time a survivor would go below 0 health they become incapacitated!

if a survivor is being losing hp that happens by a source a red indicator will pop up around your crosshair. If its ontop of the crosshair the source is infront of you. If the red arrow is below the crosshair something is damaging you from behind. If its on the left you are being struck on your left side. If the damage indicatior is appearing on the right side of the crosshair the damaging source hurting you is on the right. Use these basic directions and all in - between locations the arrow pops up to quickly locate and remove the source of damage.

Incapacitation

Any time a survivor becomes incapacitated they fall to the ground and automatically change and can only use the currently equipped secondary weapon with a heavily decreased rate of fire and accuracy. The survivor then can be picked back up by a fellow non-incapacitated survivor. A in-capped survivor has 300 temporary health and when revived have 30 temporary health. A in-capped survivor can be killed if the survivor loses all 300 temporary health. A survivor can be in-capped twice before seeing black and white. When a survivors vision changes to greys, white, and black. The next incapacitation that would happen will instead result in death. If a survivor receives health(temporary health doesn't count) the number incapacitations are reset.

Survivor Death

Anytime a survivor dies they drop all their equipment. Which can be picked up and used by other fellow survivors. Primary Weapons retain the ammo lost in normal use. First Aid and Pain Pill are very important to grab if a survivor has a spot for it even if they are in no immediate danger. If you are playing campaign mode you will eventually respawn and possibly rescued.

Rescuing a Survivor

Eventually a situation will happen where you will have a death among your survivors. When a survivor dies the health bar at the bottom of the screen will be replaced with a semi - transparent skull. If you are playing campaign mode a survivor will spawn in a closed room, And will be revived with half health and fresh set incapacitations with a tier one primary weapon. Only if the room they are awaiting to be rescued in is opened.

Four Immune Survivors star In L4D (Left 4 Dead) in the post zombie apocalypse world that is L4D. Each survivor is unique to the next. They usually have very different color schemes and silhouettes to be distinguished from one another easily. There are four Survivors in L4D. Zoey the young intelligent college student that enjoys horror movies, Bill the old retired soldier that has decided he won't go without a fight despite his age his life long war experience has served him well, Louis the middle aged information technology supervisor for a large corporation, and last but not least... Francis the biker who is very free spirited and very vocal about things he hates aside from vests. These four poor unlucky souls reside in a very north eastern area of America. While each survivor appears very different they have the same stats as one another..
